Monitor View

 

 

Terminal Status


The Monitor View shows the Terminal Status, which is the state of the InSight User Interface connection to the InSight Terminal Agent.  

 

 

 

Terminal Device Displays

 

The Monitor View contains graphical representations and current display state for all of the Terminal’s Devices

 

 

Text Based Displays

 

Text based displays include the 2x20 Display, VDisplay and Cash Receipt.  Up to 2 2x20 displays are available in the Monitor View depending on the Terminal Configuration.

 

 

 

Graphical States

 

Graphical Representations of Cash Drawer, Scanner, Scale, Lights and Manager key are included in the Monitor View.

 

 

 

Keyboard Rendering

 

The Keyboard rendering depends on the Keyboard Type.  Included on the Keyboard are the Lights, Manager Key, and Cash Drawer Text.  The Cash Drawer Text is included on the Keyboard as an additional indication of a change in Cash Drawer state when the “Cash Drawer - Scanner – Scale” graphic is minimized.

 

 

Key Attributes

 

The rendering of the Keys depends on what is retrieved from the Controller Agent for this Keyboard Type and State Table.  Initially the Keys will be rendered with the default Text and Button colors and will be displayed with their Function codes.   Keys can easily be configured to display the colors and text of the Terminals keyboards.  These changes can be made with the InSight UI or by distributing or modifying a configuration file on the Controller.  For more information about configuring keys see Key Attributes.

 

 

Terminal View Task Panel

 

The Task Panel contains Tasks, Details, and Service Functions.

 

 

 

Events List

 

Event Histories are retrieves when first opening the Terminal View.  These events are kept in the Events Listin the docking pane to the right of the Terminal View.  Real Time Monitoring Device Events are also added to this List as they are displayed.  For more information on the Event List see the following:

 

 

 

Qivo Event Control

 

The Qivo Event Control allows the user the ability to rewind, fast-forward, playback, and pause all of the events that are contained within the Terminal View.  For more information see:
