Store View

After successfully connecting to a Store you will have access to the Store View. The Store View contains Store Tasks and Details, Terminal Lists, Controller Properties, Terminal Tasks and Details and the CPU Utility for the Store.

Store Tasks and Details

In the task panel on the left are the Store Tasks and Details. These are the Tasks that are available for this Store as well as the Store Details that pertain to this Store

One of the Store Tasks that is available in the Store View is the ‘Multi Term View’. By choosing this function you can monitor multiple Terminals on one screen. See the following for more information:

Terminal List

The Terminal List contains the list of Terminals for that Store and their status. By default the Terminal List does not contain DefinedTerminals, but only those Terminals that are defined as Known, Onlineor Monitorable. To include Defined Terminals in the Terminal List, from the File Menu, go to ‘View’, and select ‘Display Defined Terminals’.

Terminal Tasks and Details

Similar to the Store Tasks and Details there are Tasks and Details for each of the Terminals in the Terminal List. To see the Tasks and Details associated with a particular Terminal, highlight that Terminal in the Terminal List.

One of the Terminal Tasks available for Monitorable Terminals is ‘Remote Control Terminal’. This will open the Terminal View for that Terminal in the Remote Control mode. Similarly, you can open the Terminal in Monitor mode by double clicking the Monitorable Terminal in the Terminal List.

Store Connection Status

Since the Store View maintains a connection to the Controller agent on the Store controller the Store View’s Connection Status is reflected in the Store Status section. This section is located at the top of the Store View. The Store Description is also included there.

Controller Properties

Since Stores can have multiple Controllers, information for each of the Store’s Controllers is provided in the Store View.
