TermView 

 

InSight’s Terminal View Program, TermView, is used to show the operator display state for all active POS terminals.

 

 

Starting Termview

 

Termview is started at a 4690 command prompt using:  qsa_bin:termview. 

 

 

Current State of Devices

 

Termview shows the current state of  the following devices:

 

• System/Operator Display (either ANDISPLAY, VDISPLAY, or ANDISPLAY area of a JIOP java graphics application)
• Manager key
• Keyboard lights
• Cash Drawer

The following sample illustrates some of the possible terminal states.  In this

example, Page 17 of 17 of Defined terminals is being displayed in 2x20 mode.
