Filter control is a very powerful mechanism that allows added-value
features to a terminal, but it also is likely to cause concern for
security-conscious retailers. Because of this, FilterControl is not
enabled/allowed by default - attempts to enable filter control will
be rejected unless the CDI filter control keywords are specified.
As a reminder, the vast majority of the InSight MIB is not
accessible by client applications unless a) they are running on the
4690 controllers in the same store, or b) the clients have logged
in as a high privilege user (command prompt access).
Lastly, all InSight client network messages are encrypted except
for clients that run on the store controllers.
