MIBWalk

 

The MIBWalk sample program can be found in the IDASAMP.ZIP file that is contained within the InSight installation zip file you received.

 

The MIBWalk folder contains a sample program that walks through the Management Information Base (MIB) residing on an InSight-enabled controller retrieving all of the information contained in the MIB.

 

The source and sample build files are also included for both a Windows and for two different 4690 OS environments.  The folders containing these samples are:

 

• highc:              16 bit 4690 version
• 4690va:             32 bit 4690 version
• nt:                   Windows version

 

In order to run this program, please assure that the appropriate library DLLS are copied to the folder containing your MIBWalk executable.  You should copy the DLLS from the appropriate folder (NT, 4690VA, or highc).

 

Please refer to the readme files in those folders for information on how to build your own version of these sample programs and how to install and run them.
