InSight W008 Block Counting
The InSight terminal agent displays a block count during W008
terminal sales application loading. The block counting is
modeled after 4690 U005 block counting. Each block represents
4KB of data. The block count is displayed in
hexadecimal. Block counting occurs while W008 is displayed by
4690. Counting occurs as 4690 load modules are read into
terminal memory. Load modules are files that end in .286,
.SRL, .386, and .DLL.
Below is an example of the InSight W008 Block Counting.
The first indication that the terminal is loaded with the InSight
Terminal Agent is at the U007 screen. “InSight” text will be shown
on the right side on the second line as shown below.
